Leslie Moonias

Even though you are gone, you'll never be forgotten 

Leslie died at the young age of 20. He has left behind his only daughter; Alice (3 months old); both parents Paul Moonias (Dawn) and Rida Yellowhead. Leslie also leaves behind 14 siblings, Beverly, Isabelle, Colin (Medina), Sarah, Nicole (Jonah), Denise (Simeon), Kimberley, Ina, Jocelyn, Elmer (Natasha), Russell, Luke, Kian & Kaleb (predeceased). 

Leslie leaves behind many nieces and nephews who he kept close to his heart. He was an awesome uncle and always made sure they were all ok and well cared for. 

Leslie also leaves behind a grandfather, Mike Moonias and other grandparents. Predeceased by Irene Moonias, Matthew & Martha Yellowhead. He has many aunts, uncles, cousins & his friends (who he considered his “bros“ ) that he leaves behind as well. 

Leslie's life was taken unexpectedly. Many will miss him and he’ll always be kept close to heart. Leslie was a very bright out going person. He had a huge heart and a humorous attitude. He was gentle and kind-hearted. He was always there for his siblings, and especially his little homies (younger nieces & nephews). We will miss Leslie. It’s never a goodbye, but a see you later.

Funeral services for Leslie Moonias will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service time.
