It is with great sadness that the family of Lillian Elsie McCullough (nee Forslund) announce her peaceful passing on August 29, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Lil was born to Anshelm and Elsie Forslund on March 13, 1935 in Port Arthur, Ontario. Lil was educated at Prospect School, Hillcrest (Tec) Highschool and went on to study Real Estate and get her Salesperson Licence. Lil was a member of K-ETTES (Kinsman) and a devote Christian at Lakeview Presbyterian Church. Earlier in Lil’s career she was employed at Prince Arthur Hotel as a Front Desk Clerk, and Lovelady’s Camera Shop as a Picture Developer and later on, Derm her husband incorporated D.S McCullough Reality Ltd in 1977 and they worked along side one another to build their Real Estate business.

Lil enjoyed cooking, gardening, family get togethers, and pool parties at Phillips St., dancing and travelling. Lil and Derm enjoyed over 30 years of travelling to their special spot Vista del Sol in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico usually going for 6-8 weeks over the winter months. They enjoyed family and close friends visiting them while they were there.

Lil married the love of her life, Dermot, in 1953 and they shared 68 wonderful years together. Family meant everything to Lil and her world revolved around them.

Sadly, over the last few years, dementia took hold of her and she moved from her home on Balsam Street to a long-term care facility at South Bridge Roseview, Thunder Bay, Ontario.
