Lillian began her career with the City of Thunder Bay in 1969, retiring in 2002.
Lillian married her husband Stuart in June of 1966. Lillian and Stuart loved to spend their summers on the lake. Little Sturge was one of their favourite spots. In later years they moved their camp to Whitefish to be closer to their grandchildren.
Lillian loved to spend time with family and making new friends. The friendships she made through the years were held close to her heart. One of Lillian’s favourite past times was crocheting. She made numerous prize winning afghans that were her treasured possessions.
Lillian was very proud when she became a Mummu to Samantha and Devin. Lillian would do many things to keep her grandchildren happy like camping on the living room floor and rewatching Titanic over and over again, but her favourite thing to do was taking them for ice cream.
