With broken hearts, we announce the passing of a Wife, Mother and Nonna. Mrs. Lina Talarico age 69 years, a resident of Thunder Bay passed away at the T.B.R.H.S.C. on Thursday, March 29, 2018. Born in Paterno Calabro, Cosenza, Italy, Lina has been a resident of Thunder Bay for 42 years. Lina was trained as teacher in Italy and was proud to be the first in her family to receive a teaching diploma. On a visit to Thunder Bay, she met the love of her life Dominic, whom she married in 1976. They had two beautiful daughters, Frances and Maria. Lina lived her life for her family, always surprising her girls with freshly baked bread or a big pasta meal. She was blessed with being at the birth of her four grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart. We will all feel her in the calmness in our hearts, the wind brushing our hair, the rain washing away our pain, the snowflakes kissing our cheeks and the butterflies hugging our soul.

Lina will be lovingly remembered by her husband Dominic Talarico, daughters Frances Talarico (Dennis Bon) and Maria Talarico (David Melo), grandchildren Francesca and Carolina Talarico-Bon and Sebastian and Oliver Talarico-Melo, mother Maria Romano, brother Luigi Romano (Pina), uncle Rosario Gigliotti (Amelia) and Francesco Gigliotti(Giovanna Chiarelli), sister-in-law Antonietta Macri, brother-in-law Frank Talarico (Marisa), sister-in-law Grace Demko (Michael), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Giuseppe Romano, grandparents Luigi and Carolina Romano, grandparents Francesco and Teresa Gigliotti, father-in-law Antonio Talarico, mother-in-law Francesca Talarico, and brother-in-law Giuseppe Macri.
