Mrs. Linda Lacroix (nee McKenzie) age 73 years of Windsor Street passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 24, 2017.

Linda was born in Port Arthur in the west end in which she loved and lived her whole life. She had a number of different careers during her life. She loved planting her flower gardens. Her girls and family and friends were everything to her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and did a lot of crazy things that made us laugh.

Linda will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Wanda Wyllie-Parsons (John) and Suzie Wyllie (Rae-Ann), her brother Dan (Tina) McKenzie, her nephews Greg (Melissa) McKenzie and their children Niko, Jackson and Gabriel, Mike (Jen) McKenzie and their son Robert and Marty (Cheryl) McKenzie and their son Kale, her sister-in-law Evelyn McKenzie (Roddie).

She was predeceased by her daughter Jackie Wyllie, by her parents Archie and Laina McKenzie and her brothers Roddie and Robbie McKenzie.

A private graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at St. Michael and All Angels Church, 675 Red River Rd. If friends so desire in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thunder Bay Celiac Association, Diabetes Association, Alzheimer’s Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
