We the family are saddened to announce the passing of Lois on June 8, 2022. She was born to parents Cliff & Ruth Fox in Leamington, On on November 5, 1932, part of a clan of 8. As a young girl she moved with her family to Port Arthur & grew up on a farm on John St Rd. It was there that she caught the eye of a handsome young man Stanley & the pair married in 1950. Together they had 2 sons Clark & Tim. Lois was a wonderful mother & a talented homemaker. Her culinary skills were second to none. She was able to create tasty dishes for family & friends alike.

She was an awesome Grandma to both Jarrett & Dan. She was so thrilled to have them in her life & her pride in everything they did was a constant. When her grandsons became parents themselves it was yet another generation to love. Right up until the end she never failed to ask after Caylee, Emma, Olivia & Jack.

Lois is survived by her sons Clark [Linda] & Tim [Gina], grandsons Jarrett [Sacha] & Dan [Lindsay] & great grandchildren Caylee, Emma, Olivia, & Jack, sister Fern Coulter, brother Larry Fox, nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by husband Stanley in 2010, also by siblings Jane, Bob, Jean, Don & Evelyn.

In her younger years Lois & Stan enjoyed travelling to sunny destinations or just visiting with family. Her gardening skills were recognized by so many. She had more than a few strangers driving by their home in Lappe….some even stopping to admire her work. She took such pride in her yard.

In her later life she resided in Red River Towers where she enjoyed the company of so many. Her remaining years were spent at the Walford. Thanks to all who helped to care for her there. NP Aparna Nagar’s visits were appreciated by family. We would also like to thank Dr. Zaib, Dr. Miller & the nursing staff of 3C at TBRHSC @ also the team at St. Joseph’s hospice for their dedication & care.

As per Lois’ wishes there will be no formal funeral but we will have a celebration of her life at a date yet to be determined. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
