Mr. Luigi Sdraulig, aged 78 years, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2017 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Luigi was born on May 8, 1939 in Italy and moved to Canada in 1966.
Luigi married Mavis in 1980. He worked for Provincial Paper until his retirement. He was a dedicated member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed the simple things in life: woodworking, gardening, making homemade wine and food, dancing and spending time with family.
Luigi is survived by his wife of 37 years Mavis; two stepchildren Grant (Debbie) of Geraldton, Yvonne (Peter) of Sudbury; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brothers Armando (Maria) of Toronto; Giordano (Olga) of Italy; sister-in-law Elsa of Italy and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Giuseppe, mother Antonia, brothers Dante, Camillo and Mario.
Funeral services for Mr. Luigi Sdraulig will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
