On May 23, 2023 Lynn went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ. It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She passed away peacefully with family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. For her, family always came first.

She is predeceased by her parents Ture (Arnie) Holm, and Margaret Holm and brother-in-law Jeff Kubinec. She is survived by her devoted husband Robert Haywood, her children James Haywood, Daryl Haywood (Reiko), and Kyle Haywood (Carly), her grandchildren, Kaito, Lilylynn, and Finley, brothers, Bruce Holm (Anne), Larry Holm (Denise), Jim Holm (Donna), and her sister Colleen Kubinec as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Lynn was a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay, she attended Shuniah School, Lakeview Highschool, and Lakehead University. She began her career in banking with Canada Trust in 1977, retiring in 2019. She was a kind and compassionate person who was beautiful inside and out. As a talented pianist she devoted much of her time and talent to her church. She enjoyed winters in Texas, motorcycle adventures with her husband, shopping, and travel.

Special thank you to Sunnybrook Hospital, all the nurses and staff at TBRH 1A, St. Joseph Hospice, her family and especially her niece Jenna Holm.

Cremation has taken place; a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Joseph Hospital, the Canadian Cancer Society or The Regional Food Distribution Association (RFDA).
