Mr. Manuel "Manny" Joseph Twance, age 53 years of Heron Bay, ON (Pic River First Nation), passed away peacefully on Thursday June 11th, 2015 while in the Wilson Memorial General Hospital in Marathon, ON with his family by his side.

Manny was a simple man. He loved his baseball, he loved his Boston Bruins, he loved to tease his nieces and nephews and most of all, he loved his son.

Manny will be lovingly remembered by his son Michael, his siblings Keith (Carol –Manny’s favourite sister-in-law), Russell, Angela (John) Desmoulin, Fernand and Faith (Dave Woodford). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives.

He was predeceased by his parents Russell and Marilyn Twance, his brother Neil, his sister Lily and by his nephews Peter and John Desmoulin.

Funeral Services for Manny will be held on Tuesday June 16th, 2015 in St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, Heron Bay, ON (Pic River First Nation) where a Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Milton McWatch at 1:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be offered at the Church beginning at 1:00 PM on Monday until the service. Interment will take place in the Pic River First Nation Cemetery.

If anyone so desires, donations may be made to either the Marathon Food Bank or to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Memorial Fund.
