Margaret was born in Fort William, Ontario on March 11, 1929.  She and Bernie met in 1947, married in 1953 and treasured 62 wonderful years together, welcoming their two very special children to complete their family.

She worked for Great Lakes Lumber, The Ministry of Natural Resources, Tree Nurseries and Jorgenson's Jewelry until the arrival of their first child.  Always enthusiastic and fun loving she enjoyed ceramics, and belonged to three separate bowling leagues for many years. Her favourite time of year was spending time with her family and friends at Burchell Lake, where she and Bernie created a labour of love building their camp for their family.  The perogies and cabbage rolls were plentiful as was the love to all who came to enjoy a day of fishing and fun with them and their lifelong friends The Trewin's.

Margaret bravely faced MS and Dementia for 13 years.  Roseview Manor became her home and the amazing staff always took care of her every need treating her with dignity and respect.  Never a harsh word or complaint to anyone and with Bernie by her side daily, she endured with utmost courage until her peaceful passing.  We are all better for having known Margaret, a dedicated mom, wife and friend, always providing a warm and loving home for her family.

She is survived by her ever dedicated and loving husband Bernie, and her two children Mandy Kazoun, and Russell (Lorraine) Knibbs, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.  She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Katherine Dennis, her sister Kay Zakrewski and brother Walter Dennis .

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 Cumberland Street North presided by Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla, V.G. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.  Interment will take place with immediate family at Sunset Memorial Gardens.  If friends so desire, donations  made in Margaret’s memory to The Multiple Sclerosis Society, or The Alzheimers Society of Thunder Bay would be greatly appreciated.
