Margaret Baillie Wade

Margaret was a Scottish immigrant who brought her son by ship in mid-November in early 1950’s to join husband William (deceased), already arrived in Canada.  She was extremely generous and kind to family and friends, a loving mother who led by example.   Active in the United Church in her home town of Guelph Ontario for 47 yrs.  She participated in and donated to numerous charitable activities and served as Church Committee Chair for several yrs.

Margaret is survived by her son Keith D. Wade, 2 sisters-in-law in Scotland and nieces and nephews in Scotland, England, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates and Thailand, our life-long ‘adopted family’ the Yorkes in S. Ont., and a wonderful group of friends in Guelph.

Much traveled on many adventures with family and alone, she has taken her last journey after a richly lived life.   A book of condolence may be signed at Harbourviewfuneral.ca
