It is with great sadness and loss, the passing of Margaret McDougall on Tuesday, January 4th at the age of 75 at St. Joseph's Hospital from COPD complications.

Margaret was born in Glasgow, Scotland on July 27, 1946. She came to Canada in her early 20's, first to Toronto and later to Fort William, now Thunder Bay.

Marg was predeceased by her parents, brother Peter and brother-in-law Gordon in Scotland.

She will be dearly missed by her two sons Keith in Toronto and Peter-John in Geraldton.She is also survived by her sister Jane Crichton and sister-in-law Diane Heron and nephews, and nieces in Scotland and relatives in Southern Ontario. She will be greatly missed by her travelling companion, care giver and a dear longtime friend Gerry.

She worked at various jobs and had to stop working at Sears when she found out she had COPD and Could not work anymore.She travelled for many years with Gerry to places like Mexico, Barbadoes, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Las Vegas and Scotland.

We would to thank the nurses, doctors and staff on the 4th floor North, for their caring and support during her illness and stay since the middle of July. There will be no service, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lung Association, Diabetic Canada or a charity of your choice in her memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
