Ms. Margaret Monica Maleport, age 78 years, passed away peacefully in Hogarth Riverview Manor on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Margaret was born in Fort William on September 19, 1939. She worked as a Nursing Assistant and a Teacher, substituting at many of the local schools. She married Phillip Maleport and together they started their family, raising 4 boys. Margaret enjoyed cooking and knitting, making many special gifts for family and friends. She was longtime member of St. Peter's Church. She will be truly missed by all of her family and friends.

Margaret is survived by her four sons Phillip F. Maleport Jr., Martin W. Maleport (Valerie), Timothy A. Maleport (Elsa) and Joel J. Maleport (Shelly) as well as six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Phillip F. Maleport Sr.; infant daughters Mary Ann and Elizabeth Ann; her parents Jozef and Kristina Urban as well as her daughter-in-law Jeanette Maleport.

Funeral Services for the late Ms. Margaret Maleport will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 with family and friends gathering in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church for the Funeral Mass at 10:30am, celebrated by Father Joseph Arockiam. Interment will follow in Mountainview Cemetery.

A special thank you to the Clara and Wychopen families as well as Terry Jewett for your support and kindness over the years. It will never be forgotten. Thank you as well to the staff of Hogarth Riverview Manor for your dedicated care during Mom's time there.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.

Mom, there are never words that can express all you mean to us, but know we love you and are glad you are at peace and we will meet again someday
