Mrs. Margaret Pauline Grynol passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Care Group on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the age of 94 years.
Margaret was born and raised in Manitoba and later moved to Sioux Lookout, Ontario before coming to Fort William in 1949. In 1961 she married Jim Grynol, they lived in Elliot Lake until 1965, they then returned to Thunder Bay.
Margaret was a teacher in Neepawa, Manitoba, Fort William, Ontario high school, elementary and kindergarten at Heath Park. She loved her home, flowers and gardening and enjoyed travelling, the company of people, especially children.
Margaret was a member of the Evening Guild at First Presbyterian Church and the Teachers Federation of Ontario.
Margaret is survived by her Sister Diana Campbell, Kimberley, BC; Brother Conrad (Vera) Hutney of Calgary, Alberta and brother Gerald Hutney of Wesley Chapel, Florida. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Predeceased by her husband Jim; brothers Ted, David and Edward (Laddie); sisters Olga, Elizabeth, Victoria, Catherine, Julia and Elaine; brother-in-law Dick Campbell and sister-in-law Joanne Hutney.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Margaret Grynol will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 639 Grey Street.
