Mrs. Margaret Ross, aged 92 years, passed away peacefully at the TBRHSC on Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

Margaret was born on April 20, 1924 in Fort William and grew up on Southern Avenue.

She was a teacher, dairy farmer and for the last ten years as a janitor at Crestview School in Murillo.

Survived by one brother Mel Mayes, in-laws Stan, Margaret and John, Alex and Helen, Richard and Sharon and children Irene Kiiskila (Paul), John Kiiskila (Jaimy), Margaret Farmer (Todd) and four great granddaughters; Susan Marcin, Wayne (Tara), Matthew (April) and one grandson; Murray (Pat), Nicole, Ian (Janelle), Meghan and 2 grandchildren; Jamie, Alison, Michelle, Shannon; JoAnne Lemieux (Gerald); grandchildren Kyle (Megan); Christian (Jacqueline); Daniel (Katherine); David (Nicole); Nathan and 11 grandchildren. Grandchildren Chris Ross, David Ross, Tracy Paul (Darren) and four great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick, son Alan, grandchildren Jennifer, Ronnie and Katie, sisters Irene Trevisan (Julio) and Phyllis Ross (Lloyd), brothers Doug Mayes (Vi), Howard Mayes (Mamie), Dalton Mayes (Julie) and Cam Mayes (Pat).

Margaret was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all her little chick-a-biddies.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Augustine Church with Father Donn Adaza officiating.

A private family interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A luncheon will be held at the Murillo Town Hall.
