Margaret was born on April 11, 1942 in Pembrook, ON. She was one of nine children. She grew up with her siblings Lianne, Mary, Florence, Martin, Evelyne, Rita, Howard, and George.
Margaret was most happiest and content spending time with her family, plus spending time camping at McKirdy.
On November 14, 1959 in Nakina, Margaret married the love of her life, Andre St. Denis. For many years Margaret enjoyed her job as a waitress at various restaurants including the Bamboo and Chans.
Margaret is survived by her husband Andre; sons Andre Jr (April); Fern (Theresa); daughter Penny (Rui), grandchildren Melissa (Walter), Paul (Sharlee), Jordan (Val), Justin (Emily), Kyle, Josh (Charity); great grandchildren Mick, Alex, Brooklyn and Daniel; brothers Howard (Sharon), George (Linda) Goldberg; sisters Mary Currier and Rita Chaboyer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by her father Oscar and mother Irene; daughter Cheryl; sisters Florence, Leanne, Evelyn; and brother Martin.
A special thank you goes out for the care and support provided by nurse practitioner Donald Hutchinson; nurses from Paramed; Chw’s; the palliative care team from Norwest, also Dr. Jennifer Lawson and nursing staff.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life may occur at a later date when family can gather.
