Maria "Dolly" Kuzminski

With great sadness, we announce that Dolly passed away peacefully in the early hours of September 3, 2022 with family by her side.

Dolly was born in Hull, Quebec on August 22, 1920. She moved to Ottawa as a small child, where she grew up and met her husband, George Kuzminski. Together they moved to Fort William.

Family was very important to Dolly. She loved the time spent with her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed taking them camping and fishing in Graham. Dolly loved the outdoors. She took great pride in her garden and flower beds. She also enjoyed going to the casino, travelling, playing cards with her friends and feeding anyone who walked through the door.

Dolly was predeceased by her husband George. She is survived by daughters Brenda (Erik) Larsen, and Colleen McNeill; grandchildren Mark (Cheryl) Larsen, Amanda (Sean) MacMillian, Miranda McNeill, Kristopher (Katelyn Lacey) McNeill; 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as her best friends, Billy and Marie Glidden.

A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Pioneer Ridge for the excellent care they provided Dolly throughout her time there.

Cremation has taken place and a private ceremony will follow at a later date.
