It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Maria Vivian- Lill Warren, age 54, resident of Thunder Bay. She passed away unexpectedly with family by her side at TBRHSC on Saturday June 3, 2023.

Born July 4th, 1968 in Edmonton, Alberta at Misericordia Hospital, she was raised and educated in Thunder Bay. ON. Maria worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Walmart, County-fair for close to 10 years where she met some life long friends.

Maria is survived by her partner Ted Byfield; children Ashley Warren (Curtis), Jaimie Lynn Warren (Wade), & Brandon Byfield; grandchildren Breanna, Kaiden, Brailyn, Kolby, Lilah, Parker & Brody; parent Wayne Warren; siblings Stacy Corbett; and many Aunts & uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews & special friends.

Maria is predeceased by her mother Sandra-Jo Warren, her twin brother Everett Warren; grandparents Alfred and Ethel Fournier.

Maria was always proud of her children and their accomplishments. She always talked about each of them. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going for coffee with friends/family. Anyone that knew Maria knew that she had open arms, she was our go to, our anchor.

We would like to thank the nurses, staff and Dr. Nicole Laferriere at TBRHSC for all of her hard work and dedication over the last couple of years.

You will be sorely missed by all who knew you. The love you gave us will always be with us.

Cremation has already taken place. There will be a drop in July 9th, 2023 at West Thunder Community Centre (915 Edward Street, South) from 2:00PM-4:00PM.
