Ms. Marie “Mary” Scali age 91 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away in Hogarth-Riverview Manor, on Sunday, August 20, 2017. Mary was born in Port Arthur daughter of Vincent and Rose Scali.
She was a lifetime resident of the city. She loved to work in the garden and take care of her home. Her family was very important to her and she always enjoyed the evening coffee time at her home with the family.
She is survived by her brothers Rocky (Glenna), Joe and Frank, brother-in-law Wilf Montroy, sister-in-law Mildred Scollie. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. She was predeceased by her parents Vincent and Rose, sisters Catherine Boucher, Angela Montroy, Carmela Scali, Rita Garofalo and Theresa Protosavage, brothers Sam, Nick, John, Tony and Dominic.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church celebrated by Rev. Luigi Fillipini. Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery. If friends desire, memorials to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
