The family of Marjorie Harris, aged 86 years, is saddened to announce her passing on Tuesday, May 11.
Marjorie was born on Dec. 23, 1923 in Fort William. The focus and loves of her life were her family, music, curling and the family camp at Shebandowan Lake.
Marjorie served her country in the Women's Air Force in 1942-‘45. In later years, she worked as a volunteer with the Cancer Society.
She was predeceased by her husband Webb in 1994 and is survived by her children Lynn Bryan (David), David (Patti), Charlotte McDonald (Barry) and Trevor (Kathy).
She is also survived by grandchildren Jamie Bryan (Kristin), Hunter and Carter Harris and great grandchildren Cooper and Samantha Bryan. She is also survived by her two sisters Dorothy Shaver and Wilma Johnston (Don).
A private family graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
Special thanks to the staff of Pinewood Court for their excellent care. They made her last few years enjoyable and comfortable.
