It is with deep sadness that the family of Marjorie Hazel Pawson nee Kennedy announce her peaceful passing on May 20, 2025 at Hogarth Riverview Manor with
family by her side.  Marjorie was born in North Bay on January 10th 1932 and moved to Fort William with her family in 1939.  She married the love of her life Gordon Pawson on October 15th 1949 and they enjoyed 70 wonderful years together before he passed away in 2020.

Marge and Gord had four children; Janice (Gord), Greg (Monica & Amie) Michael (Diana) and Jo-ann and nine grandchildren who made them proud every day. Chris (Karen), Shannon (Jon), Kyle (Sosi), Aldra, Macy, James, Evie, Kayleigh, and Sophie. She also had three great grandchildren who kept her busy and active in her later years. Millie, Olive and Jack loved their GG and will miss her dearly.

Marge enjoyed curling at the Fort William Curling Club and especially enjoyed the friendship games with the ladies from St Paul Curling Club. Mom and Dad travelled for many years to places like Cuba, Vegas, Chippewa Falls Wisconsin and Florida but most of all they enjoyed their Camp at Shebandowan. This was their piece of heaven and they enjoyed it for 45 years.  Marge was a member of St Andrews Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and enjoyed many happy times with her friends in the St Aidens Group.

Marge was predeceased by her husband Gord in 2020 and her parents Willard and Lillian Kennedy.  Also predeceased by sisters Elsie Hall, Joan Norman, Pat Kurtz and Bev Stefanyshyn as well as brothers Bill, Brian and Keith Kennedy.

Heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff and Doctors of 4N-St Joes and 4N-Hogarth.  You treated her with dignity and respect.   Tatiana -you were like an angel to mom in her final days and we will never forget your kindness. Thank you also to Dr Oyella at the Regional Hospital who began this journey with her.

A Celebration of Life and Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Andrews Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
