Mrs. Marjorie Schugmann (nee: Anderson) born January 22, 1932, in Allanwater, Ontario passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Pinewood Court, Thunder Bay with family at her side.
Mom was a residential school survivor who raised six children while running a home based business. She was an outdoorsy person, she loved trapping, fishing, gardening, and was also an avid curler. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her worlds, she loved each and every one and was proud of them all.
She is survived by her children Peggy (Rikk), Joseph, Gail, Sally (Rene), Sandra, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters Jenny Wynn and Emily Clace.
Predeceased by son David, grandson Geoff, parents Sarah Binguis and Harry Anderson, siblings Sam, Mary, Agnes, Art, Victoria, Nellie and Norman.
A special thank you goes to the Doctors and Nurses at Pinewood Court for all of the support given to Marjorie for her last years of life.
Memorial Service for Marjorie will take place on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, beginning at 11:00 a.m. presided by Rev. Ed Long. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the RFDA would be greatly appreciated.
