Mark Polson (Palayncia), age 65, passed away suddenly but peacefully with his family by his side on May 29, 2017.

Mark worked at TBRHSC and retired in 2016. He was highly involved with OPSEU and took pride in his union role. He was a very social person and enjoyed shopping, photography and the casino. Above all, Mark adored his grandchildren and loved spoiling them.

In addition to being a loving father and grandfather, his family will remember him as a prankster. Over the years we received many bizarre gifts purchased to make us laugh. We will fondly remember the family time enjoyed sharing meals, going to shows and chatting up a storm.

Mark is predeceased by the love of his life Debbie Still and his parents Eugene and Agnes Polson. He is survived by his sister Carol Polson of Winnipeg, MB, daughters Charlene DePeuter (Joel), Karina Polson (Leigh), two grandchildren Kalla and Luke DePeuter and cats Shy and Sassie.

He will be missed greatly and we are so thankful for the time that we had and happy memories.

The family is thankful to Dr. Arora, Nurse Chris from the ICU Department and the staff that cared for Mark during his stay at TBRHSC.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at the West Thunder Community Centre, 915 Edward Street South, on Monday June 5 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
