Martin James Reinsalu

Martin James Reinsalu, age 64 years, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2018. 

Martin was born in Port Arthur on September 26, 1953. He worked at Great Lakes bush camps for many years as a mechanic and Class “A” welder and also worked for Lowery’s Office Supplies for 14 years. Martin was very dedicated and well-liked by everyone. He enjoyed life with his family and loved helping friends fix their vehicles. 

Martin is predeceased by his parents Diana and Udo Reinsalu and his brother David. 
He will be forever missed by his loving wife Lynda, daughter Treena-Lynn, son Jason, sisters Monica, Grace and Linda; grandsons Austin, Rhyis, Aiden, Parker, Kia and granddaughter Avayah; as well as brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, all of the Merkley family and many friends.

As per Martin’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Martin’s Memory to the Cardiac Fund.
