Mary Ann Harvey

Mary Ann Harvey, age 70 years, of Thunder Bay, ON passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in the TBRHSC after a lengthy illness. She was born in Beardmore, ON on February 23, 1947 to George and Marie Nicholson.

Mary Ann met the love of her life, Guy Harvey and married him in 1973 and together they raised their children Kim, Guy Jr. and stepsons Doug and Dennis. Mary Ann's greatest love and passion was raising her children and granddaughter Paige. She loved spending time with her children, granddaughter, family and friends and travelling with her family. She was fond of going out dancing and having drinks with her best friend and beloved sister Sally, brother Jimmy, husband Guy, brother-in-law Chester, children and friends.

Left to mourn are her husband Guy, daughter Kim, granddaughter Paige, son Guy Jr. (Laura), stepsons Doug and Dennis and their families, siblings Sally (Chester), Jimmy, Jean (Bernard), sisters-in-law Lina, Lillian, Gislaine (Wayne), brothers-in-law Gus (Shirley), Gabbie (Lorraine). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mary Ann was predeceased by her mother Marie, father George and brothers Harold, Jack (Turkey), George and Tommy.
A Private family graveside service will be held at the Nipigon Cemetery on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM. There will be a Celebration of Life in memory of Mary Ann at the family home, 197 Brent St., Thunder Bay at 4:00 PM. If friends so desire, donations made in memory of Mary Ann to Alzheimer Society, Lupus Ontario or Northern Cancer Fund.
