The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Ek, Dr. Rohani, Hospice Northwest Palliative Care Team and the Bayshore staff. A special thanks to her brother Richard for his time and spiritual support over the last two years.

Mary’s life revolved around her family guided by her faith. Her family devotion was evidenced by the great efforts she made to attend all of her children’s and grandchildren’s educational graduations, religious sacraments and various activities both in Thunder Bay or away.

She took great pride in witnessing the successes of her family using their god given talents. As a lifelong educator, she took great pride in the fact that all her children and grandchildren obtained a post-secondary education. Mary loved spending time with family and friends in Florida, Balm Bay or visiting her out of town children. Mary’s favourite activities included playing cards with her family and bridge clubs, shopping with whoever could keep up, playing and watching tennis at the Tennis Centre and being an avid fan of Wolves basketball. Her love for sports and religion were combined with her passion for her favourite football team the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
