We are sad to announce the passing of our mother and grandmother "Grace/Grandma Grace" on September 07, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mom was a member of the Slate River Women's Institute for many years and most recently enjoyed the monthly meeting of the Christian Women's Group. The Saturday morning breakfast at the Slate River Baptist Church was also a favourite outing for her to get together with all her friends.
She is survived by her children-Beverly, Gordon,Barbara, Brenda and Cheryl-Stepchildren-David, Sharon, Barbara,Wayne and Gary. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by children Howard Marsh and Debbie Marsh-Husbands Frank Marsh and Keith Gork.
Many thanks to all her friends who were able to visit her in St. Joe's and brighten her days. Also thanks to the staff and all her friends at McKellar Place for all their help in the past year. Very special thanks to Dr. Everall and the staff on 3 South and 2 North Complex Care at St. Joseph's Hospital for their excellent care and compassion during these difficult past few months.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service. There will be a private interment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Joseph's Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street, Thunder Bay.
