Mr. Matthew (Mike) Tucnik age 93 years, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in Pioneer Ridge after a short illness.
Born in Czechoslovakia, he came to Canada in 1928.
He was predeceased by his wife, the love of his life, Bernardine (Bertha) on November 26, 1995.
He is survived by his daughters Gloria, Sandra and husband Greg Randle, Dianne, Brenda and Sheila.
Grandchildren Jeremy and wife Sharon Randle, Brianne and husband Dwayne Maxwell.
Great grandchildren Jesse, Athena and Sybilla Randle and Isla and Lindi Maxwell.
He was a good, decent man and a hard worker and good provider for his family and was employed for 35 years at Bombardier.
He was a good mechanic and enjoyed working on cars and going to classic car shows and listening to his music.
He will be deeply missed by his family, who he loved spending time with, especially his great grandchildren whom he adored.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday November 26 2016 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in the Blake Funeral Chapel. Interment will be held privately for family in Mountain
View Cemetery. If friends desire, in lieu of flowers memorials to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
Matthew Tucnik will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
