Mr. Maurice Landry, age 87 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5, 2023 in Pinewood Court.
Maurice was born in St. Eleuthère, Quebec on May 22, 1936. He worked for American Can as a foreman for many years, and later as a truck driver for MTL in Thunder Bay. He loved his old French music.
He is survived by his children Maryse and James; and grandchildren Caitlyn, Eric and Jason.
Predeceased by his wife Agathe, and his son Jean-Guy.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Pinewood Court – Kingfisher, for their exceptional care and compassion.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma. If friends so desire, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
