Mavis Sdraulig

Mavis Iris Sdraulig (nee Albrecht) passed away peacefully with her son Grant and daughter in law Debbie by her side, on October 24, 2018 at the Geraldton District Hospital at the age of 80.

Beloved wife of late Luigi and dearest mother of Grant Gignac (Debbie) Geraldton and Yvonne (Peter Poliquin) Sudbury.

She will be sadly missed by her 4 grandchildren Jason Gignac (Samantha), Jessica Gignac (Chris), Peter Poliquin (Sophie), Michel Poliquin (Janna) and 10 great grandchildren.

Mavis was predeceased by her husband Luigi of 37 years, brother Alfred and sister Stella. She is survived by her sister Rose (Saskatchewan), brothers Gordon (Thunder Bay) and Ralph (Nancy) Nova Scotia and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mavis worked in Retail until her retirement. She loved the simple things in life: cooking, baking, music, adored flowers and spending time with family.
As per Mavis’ wishes no formal service will be held.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
