It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of May Eleanor Pigeau after a lengthly fight with cancer on Saturday, April 16, 2016.
Eleanor had many friends and family. She married her husband John and had a daughter Jackie and a son Brian.
Eleanor loved to work on her farm with her best friend Marilyn Rickwood and her children at her side; one big extended family. She loved to swim and bowl, and joined two bowling teams after her husband had passed. She was very good at most sports.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, camping, biking and long walks. She was very much an outdoors lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Eleanor is survived by brothers Victor, Nelson, Grant, Bill, sisters Linda, Evelene and Genie, daughter Jackie (George) Korkola, son Brian (Rosemarie) Morden, grandaughter Allie (Jessie) Pelletier and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her late husband John Keetley. A graveside service will take place on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.at Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
May Pigeau will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 11, 2017.
