The family of Melbourne Marsh sorrowfully announces his passing at the age of 88 years at St. Joseph's Hospital on Monday, October 2, 2017 with his family by his side.

He was born on November 29, 1928 in Port Arthur. He is survived by Adele (nee Turcotte) his loving wife of 67 years, sons Patrick Gilles (Teresita), Leonel (Debbie), Claude, Dennis and Marc (Sue), daughters: Leanne Kosonen (Arto) and Yvonne Marsh (Brock Dunnett), grandchildren: Riley Marsh (Sara), Kyle Kosonen, Krista Worth (Jeff), Craig Kosonen (Nicole), Nicole Marsh, Jacqueline Marsh and Marcy Costa, great-grandchildren: Seija Worth and Aria Kosonen. He was predeceased by his parents Edward Marsh and Edith Visseau.

Melbourne owned his own business Ferris and Marsh Auto Body Shop on Pearl Street with his partner Ed Ferris. He painted vehicles for 42 years and retired when he was 62 to help babysit his grandchildren who were the joy of his life. Melbourne enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and travel. Many summers were spent living in his camper and living on the fish he caught with his loving wife Adele.

Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass and Vigil Service will be held at a later date in the Spring for family and friends. Thank you to the nurse and doctors of St. Joseph's Hospital for their care and compassion. Also thanks to the spiritual worker Joya, social worker Elizabeth and Father Francisco Blazek.
