It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Melvin Harold Sven Kari, age 76 years on Friday, December 25, 2020.
Melvin was a kind, gentle man with a smile that could light up a room. He loved spending time with his brother Allan. Melvin enjoyed colouring, working on puzzles, playing cards, listening to Johnny Cash, and travelling. He enjoyed getting together for Christmas, birthdays and special occasions.
Melvin took pride in being Allan’s “Assistant” at Branch #5 and Polish Legions as Allan played accordion. Melvin will be lovingly remembered by his brother Allan, friends, family and Community Living workers. He will forever be missed by his honorary family, Penny Fitzpatrick, and supported by Helen and Brian Kroker.
Melvin was predeceased by his father Sven and mother Norma.
