Mr. Michael Kachor, aged 92 years, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Hogarth Riverview Manor on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
Michael is survived by his wife Arlene Kachor; stepsons Richard and Tim Martinson; sister Mary Hrkac; brother Walter (Emmy) Kachor; nieces Terri Hrkac and Susan (Brian) Bukovy and Nancy (Carleton) and family; nephews Ryan Hrkac and Tony (Kathy) Hrkac and family. Numerous other nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Kachor; brother Bill (Marlene) Kachor; uncle Mike Klos and brother-in-law Tony Hrkac.
Special thanks to Kathy Poulin for all her faithful visits on Wednesdays for the last 12 years, which Michael looked forward to, and for all the help she has given to Arlene. We don’t know what we would have done without her. Thank you also to Carol Perrier for all her help and compassion shown to Arlene throughout this trying time.
Cremation will take place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
