Mr. Michael Krawczuk, age 45 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 28, 2010.

Mike will be remembered for his strong work ethic and his willingness to always lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Never was a stranded motorist passed by. He was home late on many occasions because he offered a ride, dug someone out of the snow, or helped a stranger or friend in some way.

Mike was a gentle man who loved unconditionally, accepting people for who they were. One could not know Michael and not respect him. His children and wife meant the world to him. He spent many happy hours "walking the floor" with crying babies, taking kids, dogs, and bikes to the park, playing basketball and losing many games of cards, magic and chess to his children. Mike was ever present at school field trips, activities and concerts. His focus in life was always taking care of his wife and family. Michael was a generous soul who did his best each day of his life to reach out to others and meet their needs, never complaining. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Because he lived, Mike has left the world a better place.

Mike will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Dawn, their children: Jacob, Madeline, Micaela, and Samuel; great niece and nephew Krystyn and Talbot; his mother Annette; brothers: Rick (Bernie), Russell (Denise), Phillip and Jim (Lorraine); and father-in-law Walter Maybroda. Numerous and dearly loved nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; brothers and sisters-in-law; cousins and friends also survive. He was predeceased by his father Walter and mother-in-law Judy Maybroda.

Following cremation, Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Good Friday, April 2nd, 2010 in Redwood Park Church, 2609 Redwood Avenue (at entrance to Chappels Park), officiated by Pastor Doug Doyle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s memory on behalf of the Krawczuk Children at the Scotia Bank, Red River Road Branch, Thunder Bay.
