Michael Nietschei was born November 8, 1921 and passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2015.
Not enough praise can be given to the staff of Pioneer Ridge for the loving care so patiently given to Michael over the years.
Michael had four older brothers and one younger sister lost because of the war. His biggest loss was his son, Felix, who died too soon in 2007. He is survived by wife Klara and daughter Karin.
A graveside service was held at St. Andrew's Cemetery officiated by Father Terry Sawchuk of St. Peter's Church on July 7, 2015. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.
