Her 11 Grandchildren, Jonathan (Carol), Eric, Julia, Aaron, Chenoa (Kevin), Morgan, Sara, Katrina, Elliot, Bonawbae and Vincent (Adrianna). And her 9 great grandchildren; Hazel, Mikayla, Tallen, Zane, Creedance, Zoey, Briar, Mikaela and Axara. Sisters Florence, Francis (Leroy), brother Roy (Karen) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nellie was predeceased by her parents; Simon and Clara Ningewance, the love of her life Walter Slipperjack Sr, Her beloved first born Clara, sister Nora, brother Alfie, and step-mother Bessie Kejick (Shamandy)

Through her years, she's been such a free spirit that led her to many places in this country, meeting countless people and shared her love of the Lord with most of them.

Nellie was a believer in Jesus Christ and raised her children in the Lord, always hoping that her family would one day know God's peace, love and comfort.

Nellie loved to travel, meet people, make new friends and spend time with family. She enjoyed playing dice & cards, crafts, listening to music & dancing, holding bannock burger sales and fundraising for events.

Nellie loved to laugh and tell jokes. She had the best life stories. She was strong, independent, courageous and a beautiful soul. She has shown love and support towards everyone she has met.

She was a stay-at- home mom to her children, a caterer, seamstress, house counsellor for many students at Pelican Falls which she loved. Also as an elder coordinator organizing events that she also truly enjoyed.

A special thank you to Bayshore nurses; Amanda, Andrea, and Joseph, as well as Dr. Bezanson.

We would also like to thank all of her family and friends who came to visit her in her last days, and those who have touched her life and loved her. She will be missed in the hearts of all that knew her.

Due to current gathering restrictions, Funeral Services for Nellie will be held privately for family on Thursday, May 27, 2021 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre presided by Anthony Fiorito at 2:30 p.m. Please visit www.harbourviewfuneral.ca to view the services live, or you may watch at a later time as it will be archived on the same site.
