It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing at Sante Manitouwadge Health, Manitouwadge, Ontario on Thursday August 21, 2025 at the age of 82, following her battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).

Beloved wife of nearly 50 years to the late David Anderson (2011), she is survived by her 5 children, Kevin (Lorelea), Greg (Rebecca), Steven, Marcia (Charles) and Teresa (Gerry); 10 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Islay and Norman Horne. Dear sister of Betty, Jack and Cecil. Judy will be fondly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Throughout her life Judy dedicated many years working at the MNR. She enjoyed traveling, many camping trips to White Lake, conversations over coffee and tea with family and friends, tending to her garden and soaking up the sun on her deck.

Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre Sault Ste. Marie, ON. A memorial service will be held at the Bethany Pentecostal Church, Manitouwadge on Saturday September 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Beth Bierworth officiating.
