Norman Anderson passed away September 7th at Hogarth Riverview Manor in Thunder Bay.

He was born in Seseganaga May 19, 1928. A lifetime resident of Allanwater Bridge, Norman grew up in a modest fishing family.

He started his own family following in his family ways of commercial fishing, trapping, hunting and living off the land, later working for CN Rail. He built his own log home and shared with his children the importance of living off the land, respecting the earth and taking only what you need from it. Predeceased by his wife Elsie Watts, children Kenny, Norman, Audrey, Elsie, Patricia, siblings Art, Sam, Nelly, Agnus, Victoria and Mary. He is survived by his children Gloria (Wayne), Leona (Daniel) Leonard (Joan) Norma (Rick) Donna (Mike) and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his siblings Jenny Booth, Emily Clace, Margorie Sugarman and families.

Visitation at the Blake Funeral Chapel on Thursday September 10, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, September 11, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. at the Blake Funeral Chapel.

Norman Anderson will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.  Annual dedication service Sunday, June 12, 2016.
