Buster passed away peacefully on December 17. Born in Port Arthur, he was the son of Helli and Edwin Suni. He lived his entire life on Gorevale Road helping with the family dairy farm and eventually buying his own home down the road. He is survived by his sister Sarah (Art) Albertson and his nieces; Karen, Katherine, Sandra, Diane and Carol. Buster will be remembered for his passion for cars, trucks, fishing and road trips in Ontario and to BC. He loved to travel and was hoping for one more trip out west. He definitely was a man of opinions and lengthy stories. He loved nothing more than to share a cup of coffee and his views on the state of the world. Buster saw the potential value in everything and had sheds full of used parts and tools, believing they might come in handy some day. Finnish “sisu” is part of our heritage and Buster exemplified it.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date this spring. The family would like to thank the staff of Spruce, at Hogarth Riverview Manor for their care and compassion.
