Mrs. Olga Orlesky, age 92 years, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Sunday, January 10, 2106. 

Olga was born on March 6, 1923 at a farm outside of Hafford, Saskatchewan, one of the 19 children of Samuel and Katie Prokop. 

She came to Fort William during the war where she worked at the White Lunch Café.  She then moved to Geraldton where she married George Orlesky in 1944, before returning to Port Arthur in the early 1950’s where she worked at the Shorline, retiring in 1962. 

Olga enjoyed spending time in her garden, knitting, crocheting and making preserves.  Her greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her step-son Bill Orlesky, sons George and Stephen Orlesky, grandchildren Cindy, David, Daniel and George, sister Sally (Art) Costiniuk as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

She was predeceased by her husband George, her parents as well as by numerous siblings and other relatives.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street, with Rev. Adelina Pecchia presiding.  The interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. 

Visitation for friends will be held on Wednesday, January 13th from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel.  As expressions of sympathy memorials to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
