Pamela Valerie Sawdo, age 57, proud member of Lac Des Mille Lacs First Nation passed away on Tuesday April 13, 2021 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Pamela was born on May 3, 1963 and was chosen by Robert and Viola Sawdo to be their forever daughter.

Growing up, Pam spent a lot of time outdoors with her family learning how to fish, hunt and trap. During hunting season, Pam spent many hours in the bush looking for her elusive moose and more recently, proudly ripping around on her quad. Pam loved animals and always had a dog to love, Delilah will love and miss her always. Pam was a strong independent woman who lived life to the beat of her own drum.

Pam will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her daughter Krystal (David); son Robert John; nieces Valerie, Kathleen, and Malinda, great-niece and great-nephews, her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pamela was blessed with 5 grandchildren Jordan, Destiny, Rory, Autumn and Raven.
She was predeceased by her parents; Robert and Viola Sawdo and her brother Roderick Sawdo.

Interment of ashes will take place on Lac Des Mille Lacs at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Pam's memory to the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society.
