It is with great sadness that the family of Pasquale Vacca announce his passing on June 21st 2017.

Pasquale was born in Castelpetroso, Molise, Italy.  He served in the army and worked in Switzerland before coming to Canada. A long time resident of Thunder Bay, he started working construction in the late fifties, later at the paper mill and then a local rail company.

Pasquale will be sadly missed by his wife: Giuseppina (Josie) Son Mario of Toronto (on route) Daughter Florina and Grandchildren:  Dana (Bogdan) of Toronto and Shawn of Thunder Bay.  Sister Antonietta  of Toronto. Sisters-in-law:  Assunta (Italy) Dalia (Toronto) Anna (Toronto) Antonietta, Mary (Dave). Brother-in-law:  Felix (Maria) Thunder Bay. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives in Thunder Bay, Toronto, Italy and Argentina. Predeceased by parents, Fiorina and Pietro, Brothers: Donato and Antonio, Sisters; Addolorata and Maria.

Funeral Services for the late Pasquale Vacca will be held on Monday, June 26th at 11:00 am at St. Dominics Church, 130 Redwood Avenue. Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3200 Oliver Road. Prayers will be held on Sunday, June 25th at 7:00 p.m. at Blake’s Funeral Chapel, 200 May Street, South. If friends so desire, donations in Pasquale’s memory can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Thunder Bay.
