Patricia Lee

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful mother grandmother and best friend Patricia Hilda Lee (Patsy) who passed away peacefully on December 12, 2020 at the age of 90. She was born in Rainy Lake, Ontario. On August 14, 1948 she married the love of her life Herman Walter Lee Sr. They shared 64 years of marriage together raising 8 children until Herman’s passing in 2012.

In the summer Patsy loved being outdoors where she could be found gardening, hunting or catching the biggest fish in the lake. As long as she was with family and friends, she was happy. Patsy enjoyed to travel visiting many cities over the years always to be sure to find what casinos and shopping was around. However, Las Vegas and her shopping trips to Duluth with her daughters always had a special place in her heart.

Christmas was one of the best times of the year. Patsy would truly shine as she spent many hours in the kitchen getting everything ready for the family to come over and celebrate. With a full feast that could feed all of us for a month, the one thing we can all agree on is Patsy could cook. But with all the amazing food and baking she did, we all knew we were there for one thing and one thing only. Those meat pies that everyone couldn't get enough of, but also could never get the recipe for.

We love you, you meant so much to so many and after 90 years with us you will be missed dearly. We must say goodbye for now, but this is your time to rest easy and reunite with grandpa again, the two of you have 8 years worth of fishing and hunting to catch up on.

Patricia will be sadly missed by Her children Gloria (Eric), Danny (Michelle), Herman Jr., Pam (Carl), Jill (Dave), Kim (Alison) and Marilyn (Pat); grandchildren Tessa, Bobbi-Jo, Jennifer, Kimberly, Christie, Ryan, John, David, Liberty, Nicole, Brandon, Amanda and Tyler. As well as her 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; Sister Judy, and numerous other relatives. Patricia is predeceased by her Husband Herman Lee Sr., Parents James and Elizabeth Ayotte, Son Jamie; grandsons Little Dan, Stacy, Sam and great grandchild Daniel (infancy).

At this time, the family would like to thank all the dedicated staff of Southbridge Lakehead for their support and care for Patricia during her time in the care through most difficult times, God Bless Stay Safe. We would also like to thank the Blake Funeral Chapel and Sunset Memorial Gardens for making things easier during a difficult time.

A private graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to the Blake Funeral Chapel, 200 May Street South.

Patricia Lee will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 13, 2021.
