Mr. Paul Magi, age 59 years, resident of Thunder Bay passed away unexpectedly at the TBRHSC on Sunday July 17.

Paul was born on January 13, 1957. He worked at Bombardier for 37 years until he happily retired 4 years ago. He was an active member of the Chapples and F.W. Prosvita Golf Clubs where he scored a hole-in-one despite playing cross-handed. He was also a devoted Seattle Seahawks fan. Some of his happiest days were spent at camp, catching and releasing fish and enjoying good times with family and friends. He could often be found puttering around the house and yard keeping everything in order and helping his neighbours.

Paul was a kind and loving man and his pride and joy was his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years Nancy and his baby girl Daana Pascoe and son-in-law Craig Pascoe. He will be missed by his furry little friend Dixie. He is also survived by his brothers-in law Tim Niemi (Debbie), Terry Niemi (Catherine), Sisters-in-law Susan Hall (Alan), Alice Niemi and many special nieces and nephews.

Paul was pre-deceased by his Mother Ursula Magi on February 26, 2016, Mother-in-law Veronica Niemi, Father-in-law Kosti Niemi and his Opa.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Paul’s memory to the Thunder Bay District Humane Society
