Mr. Paul Roland Beazley, age 69 years, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, March 23, 2018.

Paul was born in Pictou, Nova Scotia on July 28, 1948, the son of Kenneth and Marjorie Beazley. He grew up in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and as a young man moved to Dauphin, Manitoba where he met Linda Bechard.

The two were married on October 25, 1969 and later that year moved to Thunder Bay where they raised their two sons. A Railroader by trade, Paul worked with CN Rail for 30 years, retiring in 2000. He loved playing sports and thoroughly enjoyed curling, playing baseball, hockey and his most recent passion golf.

He always looked forward to his morning coffee at Starbucks with his fellow railroad alumni as well as going to watch L.U. Thunderwolves hockey and Thunder Bay Border Cats baseball with Dougie.

His greatest love was his family, especially his three grandchildren and he was happiest when watching them participate in their various activities.

Paul will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife Linda, sons Mark (Alison) of Thunder Bay and Kyle (Anne) of London, ON, grandchildren: Alyssa, Matthew and Brett, sister Carol (Terry) Miller, brothers: David (Crystal), Gregory (Susan) and Michael (Carolyn) as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents.

A service to celebrate the life of Paul Beazley will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street, with Rev. Luigi Filippini presiding.

As expressions of sympathy memorials to the T.B.R.H.S Foundation-Northern Cancer Fund or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. On-line condolences may be made at www.sargentandson.com.
