Paul David Stewart, born on October 2, 1960 in Kirkland Lake, ON, passed away on June 9, 2018 peacefully at home after a courageous battle with Multiple System Atrophy.

He will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend Janet, his adored stepdaughter, Ellen; mom, Shirley, sisters, Helen DeFranceschi (Claudio) and Laura Lynn (John); nieces, Sarah (Lily, Aaron, Jesse) and Laura; and nephew, Derek and stepmother, Irene, father-in-law Russ MacKay and brother-in-law Mike MacKay (Barb), his loyal dog, Molly, and many friends. Paul was predeceased by his dad, Dave, and mother-in-law Evelyn.

He enjoyed quality time with family and friends and never lost his sense of humour. He was a member of the Masons and enjoyed the outdoors as well as golfing, curling, skiing, camping, riding his quad, and taking care of his yard. He took pride in everything he did and was happiest sitting around his massive bonfires with the gang. Always the first to lend a helping hand for those in need, Paul will be remembered for being extremely generous and hard-working.
Paul owned Giant Fire Protection for several years. He then tried his hand at a few different careers before joining the Bombardier team.

A Memorial Reception will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. in the Harbourview Funeral Centre with Words of Tribute being offered at 3:00 p.m.
