Peggy Desmoulin

Peggy Desmoulin passed away peacefully in hospital with her family by her side on Saturday, April 8, 2017, on her father’s birthday. Born May 23, 1953 in Port Arthur, where she lived all of her life. Mother of two sons Dollard and Will, daughter Jenny-Lynne and her step-children Byron and Delina.

Peggy’s greatest joy was her family. She was known for her kindness, generosity and beautiful smile. Peggy worked many years as a cook and enjoyed various crafts, especially ceramics. She is survived by her son Willy (Mandy); daughter Jenny-Lynne and her step-children Byron and Delina; sisters Virginia Lachance (Gates) and Maxine Cayenne (Larry); brother Leo Desmoulin (Dixie) and brother in law Eric Soderberg as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her son Dollard, her parents Frank and Margaret Desmoulin, sister Geraldine Soderberg and niece Micheline Beaulieu.

Funeral Services will be held at Jenkens Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 with visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Thunder Bay Shelter House would be greatly appreciated.
