Beloved Husband, Father, Son and Brother Peter Christopher Adduono of Thunder Bay passed away Friday April 28, 2017.

Peter was born on October 1, 1958 in Fort William Ontario. He suffered from intractable nerve pain and other medical issues. He was so brave and battled on, helping others whenever he could.

At the age of 23 he met the love of his life “Carol”.  They married August 19, 1988.  Peter attended George Brown College and graduated with a perfect 4.0 average. This achievement was recognized in the Sheet Metal Trades Magazine of North America.  The skills he acquired at George Brown were soon put to good use while starting the very successful Adduono’s Sheet Metal and Heating business.  After many years in the sheet metal business, Peter decided to try his hand as a restaurateur.  Since 2013 Peter and Family have owned and operated Shebandowan Shores Resort. Due to Peter’s gift for visualization and love for making things better, the park has come a long way and will continue to improve under the guidance of his wife Carol and his sons Jake and Max.

In addition to these careers, Peter was very passionate about family vacations and romantic getaways with his wife.  His other passion was bringing classic cars back to life.

Peter is survived by his wife Carol, sons James Christopher (Jake) and Max Lucas Allan Adduono, father Herb (Allan) Adduono, brothers: Jerry Adduono (Brenda); Rick Adduono (Melanie); Ken Adduono (Rhonda), sisters; Debbie Milani (Tom) and Patti Exell (Bill); his father-in-law Len Johnson (Louise), sister-in-law Susan Thompson (Gordie) brother-in-law Doug Johnson (Heather), large extended family and couch buddies Tanner and Kate. Peter was admired and loved by all.

He is predeceased by his Mother Joyce Adduono, Mother-in-law Joan Johnson and his beloved pet’s, wheaten terrier Gus and parrot Kirby.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 8, 2017, when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, at St. Agnes Church celebrated by Rev. Jerin Louis.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later time.  Visitation for friends and family will take place from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday May 7, 2017 at St. Agnes Church with prayers being offered at 4:00 pm. If friends desire, memorials to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated.
