Peter Diana

With sadness, we wish to announce the passing of our beloved brother, Peter, on May 6, 2019 at the age of 63. Peter was born on January 31, 1956 at McKellar Hospital.

Peter was an avid gardener and loved to spend time in his backyard with family and friends. His yard was a beautiful oasis. He was a bright light in many of our lives, with his smile and witty disposition. He was simply fun to be around and enjoyed sharing his time and space with those who visited.

Peter worked at the Manitoba Pool Elevators for many years. During that time, he was able to do some travelling to Hawaii, Spain and Morocco to name a few. He also worked at Laura Secord as the store manager, where he became popular amongst the children, providing them with free ice cream samples and a smile.

Peter was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Catherine (Kitty) Diana. Peter will be fondly remembered by his sisters Patricia (Warren), Lynn (Claude) and Cheryl as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation has taken place and a Come and Go Celebration of Life will be held at Jenkens Funeral Home on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
